A Boogie with Da Hoodie

In heat index over 100°, didn't appreciate being told delay in doors opening due to sound check. Had all day to get that done. This artist should have a parental rating listed; couldnt believe number of 12 year olds there while the artists throwing vulgar language so repeatedly and freely. (Note originally I typed 3 of the words used most frequently - but my review was flagged for offensive language. There was a crowd full of 12 year olds listening to it though). Got inside about 7:15 or 7:30; there was a dj for quite some time, then 2 other opening performers before the person we came ro see. A Boogie only performed 9:45-10:30. He writes good songs; then ruins it by throwing the unnecessary language in there. Shame he doesn't have enough confidence in his talent to let his words stand on their own without having to throw the "n word" in 29 times in one song. A well placed expletive occassionally to get point or emotion across is one thing, but when done as frequently as it was by all performers that night, they lose their impact to the point they are as insignificant as the word "the" and just being said because young kids think it makes them grown up to repeat it. Venue was ok, but I won't pay to see A Boogie again.
